24th May A great chance to learn how important good tuning is, and what a difference it can make to performance. 1. Ian Williamson reaches for the sky to check his Spreaders (20¼ ") 2. Douglas Butler checks his Mast Rake measurement (23ft 6"), the top end of the tape (at the top of the mast) must be 19' 3" above the top of the Goose-neck black band, which must be 707mm ± 3mm above the mast pin. Got it? 3.
